By accepting this and joining the community, you also agree to adhere to the rules and agree to the waiver for the Honest Hounds neutral walks which will apply to any and all locations that you attend.

While we work hard to meet the dog trainers we recommend and ensure they align with our core values and ethos, Honest Hounds is not responsible for the quality of services provided by affiliated trainers. Please note that the views and training methods expressed by individual trainers are their own, and Honest Hounds does not assume any liability for the outcomes of their services. We act as a referral platform and do not guarantee the success of any dog training program. It is the client's responsibility to research and choose the trainer that best suits their needs. We encourage clients to read reviews, ask questions, and interview trainers before making a decision for you and your dog.

14. Neutral Walks
Should you choose to join a walk as part of your subscription, it may be helpful for you to know that our neutral walks welcome everyone but we all must go into them with the same expectations. Please familiarise yourself with them before you join our leaders on a neutral walk.

You will also be asked to sign a waiver when you join our community in preparation for joining any of our neutral walks, an example of that waiver can be found on our Neutral Walk Rules page. Neutral walks are a perk of all of our membership options and upon joining you will be able to join the relevant WhatsApp groups for your area.

Active Membership: To remain in our community and participate in chats, you must maintain an active membership.
Cancellation: If you cancel your membership, you will be removed from the community, regardless of the billing cycle status.
Misconduct: Any member engaging in bullying, making unkind comments, or exhibiting inappropriate behaviour will have their membership terminated without a refund and will be removed from the community.
Group Chat Removal: We reserve the right to remove members from any group chat at our discretion, without providing a reason or explanation.

Our neutral walks are run by volunteers who give up their time and energy to arrange local walks and locations for you to attend with your dog. They are not dog trainers and this is not a training session. You are fully responsible for your dog and the handling of them, this is just a chance for you to get together with likeminded people and connect with a community so please bring kindness to your leader. Please take a read of the waiver and rules below. If you have further questions you can contact us on admin@honesthounds.co.uk

Rules:

  • Dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds are welcome but all dogs must remain under the control of their handler at all times.

  • There will be no on-lead greetings at any time during these walks unless specifically arranged by the leader.

  • Every group walk will start on lead and most will remain this way. If dogs have solid recall they may be swapped to a long line/e-collar/muzzle. No dog should be let off lead without one of these safety backups and this needs to be arranged by the leader and agreed by the whole group before proceeding. If you are looking for regular off lead walks check out our Social Walks.

  • If you are working on reactivity with your dog we ask that you only bring one dog per handler so you can give them your full focus.

  • Walks will be held on a monthly basis but the time, location, and group size are up to the leader to decide. Some leaders will offer more than one monthly walk but this will depend on their schedules. They are volunteering their time so please respect this.

  • Dogs that show any signs of human/dog aggression must be muzzled. These sessions are not active training sessions and the leader is not a dog trainer. It is up to you to handle your dog. If you are looking for help/training please check out the dog trainer map as a 1:1 session may be more suitable for now.

  • Spots will be filled on a first-come basis. If you can no longer make it, please let your leader know ASAP so they can fill the spot.

  • Please make sure your dog is fit and healthy to attend.

  • You will have the chance to share the specific needs of your dog (e.g. no eye contact, needs more space, etc) in your local WhatsApp chat for the sessions you attend so everyone can be on the same page.

  • All tools are welcome as long as they are being used responsibly and are within your country/area's legal guidelines. (This includes but is not limited to: muzzles, e-collars, prong collars, and slip leads).

  • If your female dog is in heat please let your group know beforehand.

  • Dogs must be handled by someone who is 18 or older. Due to the range of dogs we do not suggest that under 12s attend and anyone between 12 - 18 must be accompanied by an adult and given clear guidance on how to act around the dogs.

  • Dog owners hold responsibility for the health, safety, and control of their own dogs. The walk leader or Honest Hounds are not responsible or liable for this, or any out-of-control dogs that are encountered during the walk.

As always, respect and kindness are required. The leader is going out of their way to host these sessions for free, so please keep that in mind.

Neutral Walk Waiver

I have read, understood, and acknowledged the Honest Hounds Neutral Group Walk (HHNGW) terms and conditions and rules by agreeing to the T&Cs when I joined the Honest Hounds community. By reading, understanding, and acknowledging the terms and conditions and waiver and proceeding into an agreement and schedule of care with Honest Hounds. I affirm that I understand the inherent risks and hazards associated with the nature of group-neutral walks with Honest Hounds. These risks include, but are not limited to risks associated with having my dog around other dogs, people, wildlife, and outdoor environments, as well as interactions with the general public. Honest Hounds Leaders will take reasonable action to minimize these risks, but I understand that I, as the dog owner, am fully responsible for the actions of my dog if it causes any damage whatsoever, including, but not limited to, death, damage or injury to itself, or death, damage, or injury to other animals, pets, people and property during an Honest Hounds Neutral Group Walk. I agree to withhold my dog from attending a session if I cannot meet the rules laid out above and to let my local neutral walk leader know as soon as possible.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Honest Hounds and all Neutral Walk Leaders against loss or threatened loss or expense by reason of the liability or potential liability of my dog for or arising out of any claims for damages. This includes but is not limited to, medical attention to people, emergency or veterinary care (including acts of nature, encounters with wild animals, etc.), any damages caused by acts of aggression (biting, attacks, etc.), or any injury caused by my dog toward property, animals, and people during an Honest Hounds neutral group walk. I affirm that my dog is fit and healthy and I will not bring them if they have a cough or have any contagious illness. Honest Hounds shall not be liable for any illness or ailment that a dog may incur while in the presence of other dogs during these group-neutral walks.

I understand that the walk locations and details will be shared in a WhatsApp group that I choose to join. I am aware I can leave at any time and I can only remain in the group if I have an active membership. I understand that Honest Hounds and the Neutral Walk Volunteers are not liable for the opinions of other users of the Service. Honest Hounds does not endorse or condone the views expressed by other users, and it is not responsible for the accuracy or truthfulness of any such views. If you are offended by the opinions of other users, you may report the content to Honest Hounds via email at admin@honesthounds.co.uk.
They will review any reports and take appropriate action, including removing the content or suspending or terminating the user's access to the group. By using the Service, you agree to these Limitations of Liability. If you do not agree to these Limitations of Liability, you should not use the Service.

I agree for photos and videos to be taken during these sessions and I am happy for these shared on the Honest Hounds site and social media. I am also aware that feedback from the walks (both written and recorded) may be shared to promote the experience with others. (Please email admin@honesthounds.co.uk with your name and walk location if you would rather opt-out from this).

I hereby waive and release Honest Hounds and all the Neutral Walk Leader volunteers from any and all claims, actions, suits, demands, assessments or judgments asserted and any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including, without limitation, attorneys fees, and accounting fees to the extent permitted by law) alleged or incurred arising out of or relating to any operations.

My joining of the community confirms that I have completely read, understood, and acknowledged the Honest Hounds Neutral Group Walks waiver, HHNGW terms, and conditions, and agree to the rules laid out.

Faulty goods will be replaced with a like for like replacement where possible. If you are entitled to a refund this will be provided within 30 days of when we notify you via email that you are entitled to a refund. If you are entitled to a refund as a result of a defective product, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the product, the original delivery charges and the cost of returning the product to us.

Pricing

The prices are as quoted on the website for each item. Prices include VAT. The product pricing also excludes delivery charges which will be added to the total amount at the checkout.

We may change our prices at any time but changes will not affect any order in respect of which we have already sent you an order confirmation.

It is always possible, despite our best efforts, that some products listed on our Site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge you the lower amount when dispatching the product to you. If a product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our Site, we will contact you to inform you of the error and give you the option of either continuing your purchase of the product at the correct price or cancelling your order. If we are unable to contact you using the details you provided during the order process, we will treat your order as having been cancelled and notify you in writing. We are under no obligation to provide any product to you at an incorrect (lower) price if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

Delivery

Unless you are purchasing an item on pre-order or a bespoke customisation (where in such circumstances an estimated delivery date will be provided) delivery will take place within 7 calendar days of the date of the order confirmation.

If we do not deliver your product within 14 calendar days or within the other time period agreed between us, you may contact us to cancel your order. We are not responsible for delays outside of our control. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know of any delay which may occur to your order and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay.

If you provide to us any instructions relating to the delivery of your order (including, without limitation, instructions to leave the products in a particular place, outhouse or with a neighbour), you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of these instructions and we shall not be liable to you in relation to any loss of or damage to the product resulting from our following of your instructions. Delivery will be complete when we deliver the product to the address you gave us or in accordance with your other instructions.

International Delivery

We deliver to certain countries outside of the UK. Please contact us by email to check whether we can deliver to your required location. Orders to outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes. You will be responsible for payment of such amounts which are not set by us but set by each location. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Warranty and Liability

We warrant to you that any product purchased from us will, for at least a period of six months from the date of delivery, be of satisfactory quality, free from material defects and reasonably fit for all the purposes for which products of the kind are commonly supplied.

We will not be liable for any defect in the product arising from fair wear and tear, failure by you to follow specific care instructions, wilful damage, abnormal storage, accident, negligence by you or any third party or any alteration or repair made by you or a third party.

Our liability for any losses you suffer as a result of us breaking these terms is limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased and any losses which are a foreseeable consequence of us breaking these terms. Losses are foreseeable if they are an obvious consequence of a breach or they were contemplated by you and us at the time the purchase was made.

We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability:

1.   For death or personal injury caused by our negligence;

2.   Under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987;

3.   For breach of the terms implied by sections 12 to 15 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979;

4.   For fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

5.   For any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.

We only supply products for domestic and private use and you agree not to use any products for commercial, business or re-sale purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
